Welcome to Wayfinder GIS Memorial Mapping Services. Wayfinder GIS was created in 2023 and specializes in cemetery and other asset mapping. Jamie Way, from Muskegon County started her career in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in 2010 and has worked as a GIS Coordinator for Newaygo County GIS and the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission. Jamie mapped her first cemeteries in 2016 for Ashland Township in Newaygo County, and fell in love with the process and preservation of mapping cemeteries. Since then, she has mapped several cemeteries, as well as, memorial plaques and tree markers at Muskegon’s Veterans Memorial Causeway Park and created a tree inventory and online public map viewer for Lake Bluff Tree Preserve in Manistee, Michigan.
